FAQ’S

What is sublimation printing?

Sublimation printing is a two process print job. The artwork first gets printed onto a special paper substrate and then gets transferred onto the fabric with high heat which at that point makes the dye turn to gas and binds with the fabric fibers. The process makes the print permanent and washable.

Are there any limitations to the amount of colors you can print?

No, digital printing does not require screens to be made of each color like other traditional methods. The amount of colors per design is entirely up to you at no additional costs

Can you print on cut pieces or finished garments?

Yes, we do offer that service. However, its best to reach out to us via our Get An Estimate page with details in order to figure out the best way possible for your unique application. Not all cut pieces and garments are the same and we like to cater our services to your specific needs

How long is your turn around time?

Typically, our turnaround time is 1 to 2 weeks depending on yardage, type of job and current production schedule. For specific turnaround details please visit our Get An Estimate page with your project information and we will give you a better idea. We also do offer expedited services knowing that some industry’s must have their goods in specific timelines. With our expedited service we can produce goods depending on the job within 24 hours if need be.

Is it possible to print on black fabric?

No, unfortunately we do not print on black fabrics. However, we can print on dark fabrics as long as the print file is darker then the fabric itself.

What kind of fabrics can you print on?

With our sublimation process we are able to print on all polyester, polyester blends as well as most nylon fabrics.

Do you have any minimums?

Yes, we do. However, it’s not much of a minimum at 5 yards.

Can we provide our own fabric?

Yes, you can provide your own fabric. As long as it meets your requirements as far as fiber contents, we don’t have any issues with that.

Do you offer color matching services?

Yes, we do. We offer two different methods of color matching. Spot color matching and a more tailored service. If the job is a spot color job, we print a PANTONE color chart on the actual fabric you want printed. This way you can see and pick which spot colors you want to use for your job. If your artwork has gradients and shadows with different colors that blend into one another we use a tailored approach. This approach is extensive and may require more time as well as adjust/print/adjust method. Please visit our Get An Estimate page with inquiry details for further help.
